SLA is pleased to recognize two-year and four-year public, private, proprietary and graduate institutions with the lowest average cohort default rates over the past three years (2005-2007). This analysis is based on cohort default data recently released by the Department of Education. By analyzing default data over a three year time horizon, the SLA Default Prevention Honor Roll focuses on schools that have been able to perform consistently in minimizing defaults on their federal student loans.
